A brief history
In January 2016, the National Assembly of Québec and the Shandong Provincial People's Government signed an interparliamentary cooperation agreement (PDF, 2.9 MB) under which the two institutions created a joint work group.
Members of both parliaments explore topics of common interest, such as energy-related issues, international trade, green technologies and climate change.
The National Assembly Delegation for Relations with Shandong (NADRS) is responsible for relations with the Shandong Provincial People's Government. It is also responsible for relations with China's other parliamentary institutions.
