Ordering a video

The Audio and Video section of the National Assembly website allows visitors to watch or download audio and video excerpts from the National Assembly Archives. It is also possible to request digital versions of videos from the archives, such as:

• sittings of the National Assembly or parliamentary committees
• certain press briefings and press conferences
• special events (swearing-in of Members and the Cabinet, educational activities (in French only) held at the Assembly, etc.)

General Information

• The Assembly’s video archives go as far back as October 3, 1978, and most of them are available.
• Fees may apply.
• Any citizen or organization may distribute all or part of the debates of the Assembly on any medium (paper, electronic, or audio-visual). However, malicious use of audiovisual documents is prohibited. The use of these documents is regulated by sections 48 and 49 of the Act respecting the National Assembly.
