Wireless Internet
Visitors to the National Assembly can access the Internet via a number of Wi-Fi access points or hotspots. Persons and organizations testifying in parliamentary committee also have access to this service.

As the Assembly provides no technical assistance, visitors must know how to run their laptops in a wireless environment.
Hardware and Other Requirements
- You must have a laptop with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g wireless technology that supports WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) encoding.
- You must use the Assembly’s Internet in accordance with the Acceptable Use Policy.
Procedure
Visitors wishing to use the wireless Internet service must obtain an access key from Assembly staff at the hospitality desk in the main hall of the Parliament Building or at the Library counter.
Restriction
When parliamentary proceedings are taking place, no electronic devices are permitted in the visitors’ gallery of the National Assembly Chamber or the Legislative Council Chamber.
