The Essentials

Located in the heart of Québec City, just steps away from Old Québec, the National Assembly invites you to take a self-guided tour. With a hard copy of the Visitor’s Guide, you can create your own itinerary. At your own pace, you can explore the national historic site, including the Parliament Building’s reception pavilion, the Library and La Boutique (gift shop). The National Assembly is one of Québec City’s top tourist attractions!

Please go to the reception pavilion’s main entrance. A map showing the location of the main entrance can be found in the Important Information section.

A hard copy of the Visitor’s Guide is available to facilitate your tour. If you would like a copy of this guide, please ask for one when you register and return it at the end of your tour.

Please note:

You must reserve your tour ahead of time, either in person (on arrival) or online.

The duration of the self-guided tour varies according to your interests and schedule. If you follow the route proposed in the hard copy of the Visitor’s Guide, the tour can last from 45 to 90 minutes.

* Depending on the number of visitors, you may have to wait in line to go through security and/or to register.
