Outdoor Tours
Each summer, from June 24 to Labour Day (first Monday in September), Assembly guides offer tours of the Parliament Building gardens in French and English.
Visitors may enjoy
- the architectural features—unique in North America—of the Parliament Building, designed by Eugène-Étienne Taché in the 19th century
- the gardens, which highlight the main tree and flower species of Québec
- the statues of great Québec statesmen
- an Inuksuk, a traditional stone structure used by the Inuit as a landmark and a sign of friendship, mutual aid and solidarity
