COVID-19 Measures
The National Assembly is doing its part in the fight against COVID-19 and has implemented special measures to ensure the safety of its staff and of the people who visit the institution.
Note that wearing a mask is no longer mandatory in the National Assembly’s buildings.
Measures implemented by the National Assembly
- Anyone who has a cough, fever or difficulty breathing may not enter the National Assembly and must comply with instructions to self-isolate.
- Alcohol-based hand sanitizer dispensers have been installed in all Assembly buildings.
- Cleaning frequency has been increased (more frequent cleaning of bathrooms, door handles, railings and elevator buttons).
- Prevention posters on hand washing and disinfection methods have been posted in the buildings.
