Web accessibility standards
Accessibility allows everyone to enjoy easy access to the content and functionalities of the National Assembly of Québec’s website. The Québec government Web accessibility standards can be found here:
Web accessibility standards (SGQRI 008 2.0) (French only)
While the National Assembly is not required to apply these standards, it largely complies with them.
Non-compliant content
Certain elements of this site are not compliant with the Web accessibility standards (SGQRI 008 2.0). These are:
- the main menu, which is not fully navigable with the keyboard;
- pre-recorded video content that does not include subtitles;
- pre-recorded audio content that does not include a transcript;
- French words and sentences in text written in a different language;
- abbreviations and acronyms posted without their corresponding full meaning;
- the “History” section, which is not yet integrated into the site’s database.
The National Assembly of Québec cannot guarantee the accessibility of content from third parties that are not subject to the Web accessibility standards (SGQRI 008 2.0).
