Commenting on a Subject under Study

Did you know that you can share your opinion with the MNAs? Use our online form to comment on subjects under study at the Assemblée nationale.

I want to submit a comment – How do I proceed?

There are two ways to submit a comment:

  1. online, by filling out the form directly on your screen;
  2. by mail, at the address shown on the form: you will need to download the form, print it and fill it out.

What can I comment on?

Look for this icon Commenter to express your opinion.

  • A bill or a draft bill, as soon as it is introduced.
  • The subject of a general or special consultation.
  • Most parliamentary committee mandates, such as:
    • clause-by-clause consideration of a bill;
    • examination of activities related to the management of a public body or the implementation of an Act;
    • examination of a petition or a social issue.

I have submitted a comment. What happens next?

  • Your comment is forwarded to the parliamentarians. It may be tabled in a parliamentary committee or attached to the report tabled in the Assemblée.
  • All comments submitted are preserved in the committee records. They are then managed as archives of the Assemblée nationale and are subject to the standards governing the preservation of parliamentary documents.
