A new Assemblée nationale was elected at the general election held on October 5, 2026. The Assemblée has been summoned to meet on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at 2 p.m. This first sitting will mark the beginning of the 1st Session of the 44th Legislature.
The Assemblée nationale is made up of 127 MNAs women and men elected by the citizens in each of Québec's electoral divisions. The Assemblée sits in the Hôtel du Parlement in the city of Québec.
